Artist's Statement

Dave Boran is a Brainerd photographer and family physician. His interest in photography began with a trip to Europe when he was in high school in the 1960’s. The Crossing Arts Alliance honored Dave as their Photographer of the Year for 2010. His interests in photography include landscapes, flowers, travel, street photography and most especially, people, including athletes and musicians. In recent years he has been exploring the beauty of black and white printing. His work is on display at Boran’s Schoolhouse Frameshop at Franklin Arts Center (in addition to TCAA sales & gift gallery).
