You may associate our Second Saturdays with our long running Crossing Kids programming but did you know that there are also opportunities to visit with featured member artists, trunk shows with visiting artists, workshops for adults, and more? Mark your calendars for art filled fun, every Second Saturday at TCAA.

Join us for Second Saturday events at TCAA!
10AM TO 12pm
Kids will be creating a selection of art projects at our Harvest Arty Party. This class is sponsored by Essential Health. Pre-registration is required for this class. REGISTER HERE
If you need to cancel after you have registered, PLEASE contact us at 218-833-0416 to let us know so we can give your space to another child who may be on the waiting list. $3 per child/$5 per family material fee requested, no child is turned away due to need. Located in our classroom at 711 Laurel St, downtown Brainerd.
10am to 12pm
Meet our featured Member Artist, Diane Runberg, and view some of her artwork on display. Her work includes various media, including, oil, watercolor, acrylic, and collage. She enjoys exploring abstract and representational imagery, and creating scenes and experiences that show colors and textures in a new way. Talk with her and learn more about the process for creating her artwork.
10am to 2pm
In the Gallery - our current exhibition ‘PHOTOWRITE' will be on display. This exhibition features photography and a collection of written work created from each of the photographs on display. This exhibition showcases work from 30 local photographers and writers, including members of Focal Point Photography Club, Brainerd Writers Alliance, and Heartland Poets.
This is a unique opportunity to talk with our local artists, learn about their work, and show them support.
Crossing Arts Kids offers monthly workshops, special exhibits, summer camps, Arty Parties, and more. Encouraging kids in all their creative endeavors.

Classes are held from 10-11:30 am and 12-1:30 pm in our classroom. A $3 per child/$5 per family donation for materials is requested, but no child will be turned away due to need. Pre-registration is required for all these classes.
