The Annual 8x8 Community Art Exhibition, Online Auction, and Fundraiser for the Arts is The Crossing Arts’ largest exhibition and fundraiser of the year. With nearly 200 artists sharing their artwork and hundreds of community members visiting to see and bid on original works for art, this is an opportunity to share your work and get involved in The Crossing Arts community — as either an artist, an art appreciator, or BOTH!
Join us on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5-7pm for an evening of inspiration, refreshments, and community vibes as we celebrate the 2025 8x8 Art Community Exhibition Auction, and Fundraiser. The walls will be filled with incredible 8x8 artworks created by talented local artists—and yes, they’re all up for grabs.
This reception is free and open to the public, so grab a friend and enjoy a fun evening full of art!
Auction Timeline:
Bidding begins: Sunday, October 19th at 9am
Bidding closes: Sunday, October 26th at 5pm
Artwork on display October 15th - November 8th
Purchased / Won pieces can be retrieved from the gallery from Tuesday, October 27 - Saturday, November 8 unless shipping is selected and paid for online.
Bidding for the 2025 8x8 auction will begin oct 19
We are excited to present our 2025 Annual 8 x 8 Art Auction and Fundraiser, featuring artwork created by local artists in our community. We will again host an in-person reception and live online auction. All artwork will be featured in the Crossing Arts gallery starting Wednesday, October 15. Pieces can then be picked up by winning bidders once the online auction ends.
Join us at Crossing Arts on Friday, October 24th, for a reception and viewing of all the 8x8 artworks up for active online bidding. This event will take place in the gallery from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Beverages and light refreshments will be served. Many thanks to our artists, volunteers, members, and community members who make this fundraiser an enjoyable and successful event.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Crossing Arts’ ongoing arts programming in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We thank you in advance for your continued support and participation!
